Terms of service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. The service
Cinetrim (the "Service") is a website operated by [YOUR FULL NAME OR COMPANY NAME], [STREET AND NUMBER, POSTCODE CITY, COUNTRY], e-mail [CONTACT EMAIL] (the "Operator"). It provides software that runs in your web browser and lets you import video, audio and image files, edit them on a timeline (cuts, layers, text, transitions, filters, speed and similar effects) and export the result as a video file. All processing takes place on your device; the Operator does not receive, store or transmit your files.
2. Free use
The Service is provided free of charge for private and commercial use, without registration. Donations are voluntary and do not create any entitlement to additional services. The Operator may change, suspend or discontinue the Service at any time.
3. Your obligations
- You may only edit material that you are entitled to use. Using other people's footage, music or images may require a licence or their consent under the law applicable to you.
- You are responsible for the content of your projects and for using the exported videos lawfully, including with respect to copyright, trademarks, personal data and confidentiality.
- You must not use the Service to interfere with, overload or attack the website or its hosting.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, its design and code are protected by copyright. Third-party components are used under their own open-source licences, which are listed on the legal notice page. You keep all rights to your files and the videos you create. The Operator does not claim any rights to them and does not have access to them.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". The Operator does not warrant that it will be free of errors, uninterrupted, or compatible with every browser, device or media file. Always keep a copy of your original files; the Operator is not responsible for data stored in your browser being deleted by the browser, by you or by a system failure, nor for an export that is interrupted before it completes.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights of consumers.
7. Changes
The Operator may update these terms when the Service changes. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Operator's country of establishment (Poland), without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you reside. Consumers in the European Union may use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
